Corse-Matin article on scientific-operational collaboration and the DIMZAL tool

On Thursday 12 January 2017, the DIMZAL tool, developed by researchers at the University of Corsica, was presented to firefighters and those working on fire prevention. DIMZAL is a tool for calculating the sizing of zones for firefighting support developed by François-Joseph Chatelon, Thierry Marcelli, Jean-Louis Rossi, "Fire" project researchers and Paul-Antoine Bisgambiglia and Romain Franceschini, researchers of the "NICT" project of the Sciences for the Environment laboratory at the University of Corsica (UMR CNRS 6134 SPE). These support zones lie on strips of land that have been cleared of bush and that are used as firebreaks and strips for firefighting.

Corse-Matin published an article on this meeting and the DIMZAL product.
